Terms of Service

This is the agreement between you and astraZenith covering the Faspond app, its keyboard extension and the services behind them.

Effective 2026-09-16Last updated 2026-09-16Applies to Faspond for iOS 1.0.4

1. Accepting these terms

By using Faspond — the iOS app, the keyboard extension, this website and the server services behind them (together, “the service”) — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

These terms apply together with the Privacy Policy. The policy describes how we handle data; these terms describe the rules for using the service.

2. What you need

  • An iPhone running iOS 15.1 or later.
  • For AI features, a Faspond account and a network connection.
  • To use AI and your knowledge base inside the keyboard, Allow Full Access must be turned on in iOS Settings.
  • Legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Minors may use the service only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Used as a plain keyboard, without AI, Faspond needs no account and makes no network request.

3. Your account

Accounts are created with Apple, Google or email and authenticated by Firebase Authentication. Keep your sign-in secure; what is done through your account is treated as done by you.

You can delete your account at any time: Settings › Data & Account › Delete Account. See account deletion.

4. Price

This version is free. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription.

If paid features are introduced later, the price, billing and refund rules will be stated before anything is charged, and purchases will run through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its own policy.

5. What you put into Faspond

Your knowledge cards, question-and-answer pairs, tone settings, screenshots and the messages you paste are yours. We take no ownership of them.

To run the service, you grant us — and the providers listed in section 8 — permission to process that content to the extent needed: sending it to produce the reply you asked for, building a semantic index, and, if you turn writing-style learning on, using it for that. The permission exists only to provide the service and ends when you delete the content or the account.

Please make sure you are entitled to put it there: no third-party confidential material you may not use, no other people’s personal data, nothing that infringes another person’s rights.

6. AI output is your responsibility

Read it before you send it. Faspond works from the material you saved, offers to check rather than invent when nothing covers the question, and compares figures, dates, amounts and URLs against what you stored. Even so, language models can still be wrong. Once a reply is sent, it is your statement to the person you sent it to, not ours.

This matters most for prices, stock, delivery times, returns, warranties, and anything legal or medical. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-generated content.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

  • break the law, or help someone else break it;
  • send spam or bulk unsolicited marketing, or run a scam;
  • produce harassing, hateful, violent or sexually exploitative content, or content that infringes someone’s rights;
  • impersonate anyone, or create content that misleads people about who they are dealing with;
  • put in other people’s personal or confidential data that you have no right to use;
  • work around usage limits, reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with its normal operation;
  • mass-generate content in a way that degrades availability for other users.

The model providers have their own usage policies, and your use is subject to those too.

8. Third-party services

The service depends on third parties: Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In (Google LLC), Sign in with Apple (Apple Inc.), OpenRouter, and models from Anthropic, Google and OpenAI. Each is operated under its own terms; when one is interrupted or changed, the corresponding Faspond feature is affected.

9. Availability, limits and changes

We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. AI requests are subject to rate and usage limits so the service stays stable and affordable, and those limits may change.

We may add, change or discontinue parts of the service. Where a change would materially reduce how you can use what you have, we will make reasonable efforts to tell you first.

10. Our intellectual property

The Faspond software, interface, name and marks belong to astraZenith. These terms grant you no rights in them beyond what normal use of the service requires.

Open-source components used in the app are provided under their own licences, and their notices ship with the app.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account in the app. If you breach section 7 seriously or repeatedly, we may suspend or terminate your account; where circumstances allow, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

12. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your needs or that AI-generated content will be correct.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; to that extent they do not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or punitive damages, or for lost profits, goodwill or data.

Because this version is provided free of charge, our total liability to you is limited, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to the amount you actually paid us for the service (currently zero) — or to any higher minimum your local law requires.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury.

14. Apple-specific terms

Because the app is distributed through the App Store, the following apply:

  • These terms are between you and astraZenith. Apple is not a party to them.
  • Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the app.
  • If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
  • astraZenith, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any product liability, regulatory compliance or intellectual-property infringement claim relating to the app.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and are not on any U.S. Government prohibited or restricted party list.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

15. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of the place where astraZenith has its principal place of business, and are subject to the courts with jurisdiction there.

Where your local consumer law gives you stronger mandatory rights, those rights are not affected by these terms.

16. Changes and contact

When these terms change we update the dates at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it; if you do not, please stop using the service and delete your account.
